A mixed line with a lathe and machining center can also be built in a smaller space

The compact structure with a narrower machine width compared with previous lathes makes building a space-saving mass production line possible. Combination with the MS-320H compact horizontal machining center realizes a mixed line with a single loader and a significantly reduced line length, improving floor-space utilization for parts machining that requires turning and milling.

High-speed loader that minimizes the line takt time

During workpiece load/unload, the headstock moves to that position. The loader can enter the machine regardless of turret position. In addition, with servo-driven hand rotation and faster speeds of all movements, workpiece load/unload time of 4 seconds* has been achieved.

* Does not include upper door open/close time.
The load/unload time of 4 seconds is actual data in the case of 4 kg × 2 pcs; different operating conditions may require more time.

The machine is equipped with a spindle driven by a high-speed, high-accuracy integral motor.
The turret can be equipped with a high-output milling tool spindle to realize process-intensive machining with high-efficiency milling.
In addition, the in-machine cover structure that enables chips to flow smoothly prevents the accumulation of chips generated in large volumes by mass-produced parts machining.
