High-accuracy simultaneous 5-axis machining enhances productivity for complex-shaped components
The MULTUS U1000/MULTUS U2000 is a compact multitasking machine capable of high-accuracy simultaneous 5-axis machining with powerful cutting performance. The swivel axis (B-axis) of the H1 turret and the rotary axis (C-axis) of the main spindle are equipped with absolute position detection and high-rigidity rotary axes. This ensures stable, high-accuracy machining while providing high machining performance matching that of standalone lathes and machining centers. Although it is a multitasking machine, it allows you to easily apply the machining know-how developed on your previous standalone machines, enabling process integration that utilizes its high machining capability. The MULTUS U1000/U2000 enables a smooth transition from process segmentation with standalone machines to process integration with a multitasking machine. It contributes to achieving higher productivity of complex components across a wide range of industries, including those that require high precision such as semiconductor manufacturing equipment and medical devices.

Flexible machining that fully utilizes the machine’s travel range
Tough cutting inside entire Y-axis range
Large work envelope ideal for complex parts that require lots of milling. The longest Y-axis travel in its class is fully utilized with a highly rigid traveling column, making powerful cutting along the entire Y-axis possible.
Wide B-axis swing: 240°
The wide 240-degree swing of the B-axis spindle allows it to have equal machining areas for both the main and sub spindle. Roller gears are used to achieve “0” backlash during B-axis drive, and highly accurate 5-axis machining.
Superb C-axis positioning accuracy: 0.0001° control
Highly accurate C-axis control function is used for both the main and sub spindles. This allows high-accuracy machining of components with complex shapes. Moreover, a retention mechanism that allows for heavy-duty milling enables the machine to achieve both high accuracy and high efficiency.
