Okuma Corporation and Hitachi, Ltd. (TSE:6501, Hitachi), under the themes "evolution of production visualization" and "faster factory control cycle," have created an experimental model for high-efficiency production supporting mass customization in Okuma's new plant, DS2, by integrating the know-how of the two companies.
