Full-scale machine tool production started at BYJC-Okuma (Beijing) Machine Tool Co. Ltd, a brand new plant in China set up last year. Initially an NC lathe and 2 types of vertical machining centers will be manufactured there, with a production target of 200 machines in the first year. The machines made by BYJC-Okuma will be sold in China and meet the country's strong demand for new capital goods.
